Honor Flight Program

Honor Flight Tri-State enables veterans to fly to Washington DC and back for a whirlwind day of visiting 5 War Memorials.

Initially, these flights were limited to World War ll veterans. More veterans became eligible to apply in 2014 when Korean Veterans were added, then again in 2015 when applications from any veteran above the age of 65 started being accepted. All veterans qualify to go through the application process whether they served in a war or not. The oldest veterans are prioritized to travel first.

In April of 2015, Bake Me Home’s signature Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies joined veterans with Honor Flight Tri-State to Washington D.C. We've been thrilled to be able to provide 9,088 cookies for veterans' lunches on this once in a lifetime trip!
