Kara Sewell, Fox19 Morning News Anchor Visits

I joined Junior League when I moved to Wichita to make friends and get involved in the community. As much as I thought I was going to be the one giving back, it is really me who has taken more away from the experience.

Between raising money for people with real needs, serving folks at the Lord’s Diner and endless leadership experience; the volunteering offered by Junior League and nonprofits like it gives a humbling perspective at how fortunate most of us are.

So when the decision to transfer my membership came up I did not hesitate to join Cincinnati’s chapter.
