Mothers were pleased with their family photos, and stated that the tote bags were a great way to celebrate their new apartment with a family dessert. We believe that what your organization gives expresses your concern about women in transition. We appreciate the tote bag and portrait programs.

James Sauls Homeless Shelter

This is a wonderful program! To see the smiles on not only the parents but the children too! All they want to do is be in their own home and then get to bake cookies. Thank you for all your hard work.

Madisonville Education and Assistance Center

Our families who receive the tote bag are always delighted to have such a thoughtful, fun, and inspiring resource/gift. Regarding the family portraits, our clients are always excited about having an opportunity to have a cost free family portrait in a setting comfortable for their family.
Keep up the good work. All your programs bring joy, empowerment, and increase family enjoyment. Not many programs consider the value of family relationships and interactions, but it\’s a great part of the family\’s ability to cope with crisis and everyday stress. Thank you!!

We love the Tote Bags and the family portrait. Our CASA voluteers love them also. Overall, the tote bags help to bring families together, and for our older teens going out on their own, the cooking utensils are an awesome start for them. The cookbook adds a special flair and touch for families and older teens starting on their own!!

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for your thoughtful gift- I have a child that loves to bake and this gift was like Christmas morning.”

THANK YOU My daughter is big into baking. When she looked inside that bag she was like a young child on Christmas morning. She had to examine each piece like she was planning something yummy.
Thank you that meant a lot to us.

Bake Me Back Home

1Lt Greg “NFTCS” Arnheim

Amy, Emma, Mom, and all of the Bake Me Home Volunteers,

My name is Greg and I’m currently deployed with the Air Force’s 492d Fighter Squadron. One of my buddies here reached out to y’all and we recently received several packages of your cookies (I’d say about the 12th of June). They reached us in good condition, but unfortunately I have no photos to attach as they were gone about as soon as we opened them up! I’ll try my best to actually get a good photo if we get anymore from you. They were absolutely delicious, everyone was asking whose grandmother had been nice enough to send us all those homemade cookies! So from everyone here in the 492d ‘Madhatter’ family, I just wanted to extend a huge thanks to you guys. After long days of flying, those cookies helped keep everyone in good spirits by giving us a little taste of home.

You guys rock, and I hope you’re all doing well. Thank you again for doing what you’re doing!!

Barry Moriarity

Thank you both so very much for all you do! The cookies were phenomenal! The cookies were a boost to our morale beyond belief. On behalf of everyone in HSM-72.1 “The Bad Omens” we are eternally grateful:)

“Thank you very much for the most delicious cookies! Our veterans loved them. We love your devotion to our veterans, and through them, our country.”

Major Chris Lewis

Got the cookies!! And they were almost gone in the first 48 hours. I think a few of the folks here substituted the cookies for dinner the first night that I had them.
