CAIN (Churches Active in Northside)

The word I keep hearing from our staff who gives out the totebags is “amazed” – the mom that receive the totebags are completely amazed and overwhelmed by the generosity of what is in the bag; they are amazed and so happy to have the cookie baking to do with their kids and they are amazed that an agency they don’t even know (Bake Me Home) would care about them enough to offer them such a generous gift. Thanks so much Bake Me Home for all you do!!

Interfaith Hospitality Network of Warren County

To be able to share the Tote Bag with a family moving into their home from shelter in an awesome way to transition our families from homelessness to housing. The smiles we see and the plans to bake cookies – sometimes for the very first time – makes our families have a great feeling about what they have accomplished. It gives them a feeling of normalcy.

Our families are always pleased to receive a Tote Bag. It makes them feel special

SEM Food Pantry

The families that are lucky enough to receive a bag are very excited to bake the cookies. You have a wonderful mission to families.

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for your thoughtful gift- I have a child that loves to bake and this gift was like Christmas morning.”

Tote Bag Recipient

THANK YOU My daughter is big into baking. When she looked inside that bag she was like a young child on Christmas morning. She had to examine each piece like she was planning something yummy.
Thank you that meant a lot to us.

Bake Me Back Home

1Lt Greg “NFTCS” Arnheim

Amy, Emma, Mom, and all of the Bake Me Home Volunteers,

My name is Greg and I’m currently deployed with the Air Force’s 492d Fighter Squadron. One of my buddies here reached out to y’all and we recently received several packages of your cookies (I’d say about the 12th of June). They reached us in good condition, but unfortunately I have no photos to attach as they were gone about as soon as we opened them up! I’ll try my best to actually get a good photo if we get anymore from you. They were absolutely delicious, everyone was asking whose grandmother had been nice enough to send us all those homemade cookies! So from everyone here in the 492d ‘Madhatter’ family, I just wanted to extend a huge thanks to you guys. After long days of flying, those cookies helped keep everyone in good spirits by giving us a little taste of home.

You guys rock, and I hope you’re all doing well. Thank you again for doing what you’re doing!!

Thank you both so very much for all you do! The cookies were phenomenal! The cookies were a boost to our morale beyond belief. On behalf of everyone in HSM-72.1 “The Bad Omens” we are eternally grateful:)

“Thank you very much for the most delicious cookies! Our veterans loved them. We love your devotion to our veterans, and through them, our country.”

Major Chris Lewis

Got the cookies!! And they were almost gone in the first 48 hours. I think a few of the folks here substituted the cookies for dinner the first night that I had them.
