James Sauls Homeless Shelter

The program is great! When I give the family the bag they are so excited to see that they can make cookies together.

Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati

As an agency we always try to provide our families with something when they go into housing. Usually this is cleaning supplies or blankets. Being able to also give them the Bake Me Home bags gives us the chance to give them something fun and special as well.

Fisher House, VA

The families enjoy the fresh baked cookies that Bake Me Home provides. They consistently are very appreciative and touched that your organization thinks of them during their time of need.

The moms that receive the tote bags are always touched, delighted and very pleased to receive this gift. They are genuinely surprised and kind of “taken  aback” by this act of kindness. I observed a mom just today have this very reaction. And on her way out of our pantry she pulled the jar of cookie mix out of the tote bag and showed her kids. And she said “we get to bake cookies together” And the kids were jumping up and down with excitement.

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for your thoughtful gift- I have a child that loves to bake and this gift was like Christmas morning.”

THANK YOU My daughter is big into baking. When she looked inside that bag she was like a young child on Christmas morning. She had to examine each piece like she was planning something yummy.
Thank you that meant a lot to us.

“I’m going through a divorce and my kids and I have been struggling. We received this at a food pantry, thank you so much. It was just what we needed to do together, bake. Thank you, Emma and Amy.”

Bake Me Back Home

1Lt Greg “NFTCS” Arnheim

Amy, Emma, Mom, and all of the Bake Me Home Volunteers,

My name is Greg and I’m currently deployed with the Air Force’s 492d Fighter Squadron. One of my buddies here reached out to y’all and we recently received several packages of your cookies (I’d say about the 12th of June). They reached us in good condition, but unfortunately I have no photos to attach as they were gone about as soon as we opened them up! I’ll try my best to actually get a good photo if we get anymore from you. They were absolutely delicious, everyone was asking whose grandmother had been nice enough to send us all those homemade cookies! So from everyone here in the 492d ‘Madhatter’ family, I just wanted to extend a huge thanks to you guys. After long days of flying, those cookies helped keep everyone in good spirits by giving us a little taste of home.

You guys rock, and I hope you’re all doing well. Thank you again for doing what you’re doing!!

Thank you both so very much for all you do! The cookies were phenomenal! The cookies were a boost to our morale beyond belief. On behalf of everyone in HSM-72.1 “The Bad Omens” we are eternally grateful:)

“Thank you very much for the most delicious cookies! Our veterans loved them. We love your devotion to our veterans, and through them, our country.”

Major Chris Lewis

Got the cookies!! And they were almost gone in the first 48 hours. I think a few of the folks here substituted the cookies for dinner the first night that I had them.
