“Our families love, and I mean LOVE getting their totes. It brings a smile to their face. They feel very special.”
“Our families are very excited when they see what is in the bag, and families are asking for them who have not received them yet.”

“Cortney and her two year old moved out today. When presented with the Bake Me Home Bag (and the story behind it), she told her two year old that they would be baking tonight! Cortney told me that she had never had the opportunity to bake with her son. This is a typical response. These bags don’t just represent cookies—they represent a normalcy that our families have never had.”

“Our families are always impressed with the quality of materials in the Bake Me Home and Picture Me Home programs. It brings us joy to look at the pictures beautifully framed or a handy chic bag filled with goodies, essentials, and warm blessing.”
Tonia Griffin, Social Service Coordinator
“I just wanted to say thank you so much for your thoughtful gift- I have a child that loves to bake and this gift was like Christmas morning.”
THANK YOU My daughter is big into baking. When she looked inside that bag she was like a young child on Christmas morning. She had to examine each piece like she was planning something yummy.Thank you that meant a lot to us.
“I’m going through a divorce and my kids and I have been struggling. We received this at a food pantry, thank you so much. It was just what we needed to do together, bake. Thank you, Emma and Amy.”
“I want to thank you- after I broke my back we never have money to buy extra stuff like cookies to make together and we had a blast!!! Thank you! Plus they tasted great!!!”
Bake Me Back Home
Amy, Emma, Mom, and all of the Bake Me Home Volunteers,
My name is Greg and I’m currently deployed with the Air Force’s 492d Fighter Squadron. One of my buddies here reached out to y’all and we recently received several packages of your cookies (I’d say about the 12th of June). They reached us in good condition, but unfortunately I have no photos to attach as they were gone about as soon as we opened them up! I’ll try my best to actually get a good photo if we get anymore from you. They were absolutely delicious, everyone was asking whose grandmother had been nice enough to send us all those homemade cookies! So from everyone here in the 492d ‘Madhatter’ family, I just wanted to extend a huge thanks to you guys. After long days of flying, those cookies helped keep everyone in good spirits by giving us a little taste of home.
You guys rock, and I hope you’re all doing well. Thank you again for doing what you’re doing!!
Thank you both so very much for all you do! The cookies were phenomenal! The cookies were a boost to our morale beyond belief. On behalf of everyone in HSM-72.1 “The Bad Omens” we are eternally grateful:)
“Thank you very much for the most delicious cookies! Our veterans loved them. We love your devotion to our veterans, and through them, our country.”
Got the cookies!! And they were almost gone in the first 48 hours. I think a few of the folks here substituted the cookies for dinner the first night that I had them.
