ProKids

“Our children often will receive a tote bag from our CASA volunteer when they are newly placed in a foster or kinship home. This is an amazing way for the child to bond in their new situation and with the adult who is caring for them. Our children have been through such trauma, to enjoy cooking, in a safe home, can create the trust and positive experiences that we encourage and work for.”

Faith Promise of Butler County

“Our families love the extra kitchen supplies that come with the bag and it makes them so happy to be able to make a fresh batch of cookies when they move into their new unit.”

ARC

“The Bake Me Home Tote Bags are a beautiful, family-building gift to the families that leave our shelter. The children are always so excited at the prospect of baking with mom once they reach their new home. One semblance of normalcy in the midst of upheaval and uncertainty.”

SEM Food Pantry

“I received your generous donation of gift cards and the receipt is in the mail. I wish you could see how surprised and happy the recipients will be. God bless you all!”

Tote Bag Recipient

When I first opened the Bake Me Home Bag I felt happy, like it was a new start for me and my son. The thought of being able to make cookies with him would give us a new memory; we would have in our new home. The gift certificate to Kroger’s was an extra surprise. Thank you Bake Me Home, you made us feel like we had a new SWEET start with the wonderful chocolate chip cookies!

What they do really means a lot to me, my sisters, and my mom. They make us smile, and I really like smiling!

We made our cookies! It was wonderful! It made me feel like I accomplished something. We had everything we needed. I’ve used the pan lots of times for other things too.

1Lt Greg “NFTCS” Arnheim

Amy, Emma, Mom, and all of the Bake Me Home Volunteers,

My name is Greg and I’m currently deployed with the Air Force’s 492d Fighter Squadron. One of my buddies here reached out to y’all and we recently received several packages of your cookies (I’d say about the 12th of June). They reached us in good condition, but unfortunately I have no photos to attach as they were gone about as soon as we opened them up! I’ll try my best to actually get a good photo if we get anymore from you. They were absolutely delicious, everyone was asking whose grandmother had been nice enough to send us all those homemade cookies! So from everyone here in the 492d ‘Madhatter’ family, I just wanted to extend a huge thanks to you guys. After long days of flying, those cookies helped keep everyone in good spirits by giving us a little taste of home.

You guys rock, and I hope you’re all doing well. Thank you again for doing what you’re doing!!

Thank you both so very much for all you do! The cookies were phenomenal! The cookies were a boost to our morale beyond belief. On behalf of everyone in HSM-72.1 “The Bad Omens” we are eternally grateful:)

“Thank you very much for the most delicious cookies! Our veterans loved them. We love your devotion to our veterans, and through them, our country.”

Major Chris Lewis

Got the cookies!! And they were almost gone in the first 48 hours. I think a few of the folks here substituted the cookies for dinner the first night that I had them.
